Word Work
This collection of pages is devoted to reflections on knowing a Good and Loving God through His Word.
I hope that you will find something helpful in your pursuit of a closer connection with your Maker.
What do we go to the word for? Simple... to meet God, to see God... Seeing God, meeting Him, changes us.
There are other reasons we go to His Word. We may go in an attempt to justify ourselves, our judgementalism, our self-righteousness. Or we may go for encouragement, guidance, answers, wisdom, comfort, strength, peace. And certainly, we find these in His Word.
But in the end, we go to His Word because we want to see Him, to meet Him, to know Him -- His power, His justice, His unfailing love and grace. This is what grows us, works wonders in our lives, draws us into a closer walk and communion with Him.
